Born in Habana, Cuba. U.S. Citizen. She has lived in Miami since 1961 and is married to Frank Reyes. They have two children, Frances and Alexis. Founder of “The Cove/Rincón International Poetry and Other Arts” in 1995, President and Executive Director. Moderator, Magazine Content Editor, Producer and Master of Ceremony annual Gala Shows at FIU (Florida International University), Art Exhibits Coordinator, Organizer and Content Editor of Anthologies, Presenter at Borders Bookstores, Official Partners Latin Grammy Festivities 2001. Published a Spanish Poetry Book Reflexiones in 1981, USA.
Involved in various events throughout the year (Miami International Book Fair; Kaleidoscope Festival Of Many Cultures, W. Palm, Fl.; Cuban American Heritage Festival, Key West, Fl.; Broward County Libraries Division).

Ms. Reyes educational highlights include The Institute of Children’s Literature; Miami Dade Community College; Western Illinois University. She is affiliated with the Dade Cultural Alliance; Herencia Cubana Association; Academy of American Poets; The Cove/Rincón Int’l Poetry & Arts; Circulo de Cultura Panamericana. She is published in Newspapers, Magazines, Anthologies and Web Pages in different countries: United States, Mexico, Spain, Romania, Puerto Rico, Chile, Guatemala, and Argentina.

Ms. Reyes as received several Awards. Also has served as judge for Literary & Photography contests. She has had coverage in Newspapers, Magazines, Radio and Television, here and abroad. Presented at National Theater of Guatemala, C.A. “Siete Escritoras y Un Intérprete” in 1992. She has also participated in writers conventions in Argentina, Puerto Rico, Chile and USA.
